During the final hour of sunlight in July across central Iowa, right after a couple of photogenic tornadoes a couple hours early, the storms merged and pushed south and east out of the area. This coincided with sunset as a beautiful display of mammatus developed giving a beautiful scene for the wind turbines to generate electricity with the storm behind them.
