On April 4th, 2023, just days after the 3rd largest outbreak of severe storms and tornadoes just days prior, the same area was under the gun for another round/outbreak. A strongly rotating thunderstorm developed near I-35 and neared the Des Moines metro area. The storm then developed a strong tornado near Pleasantville, IA and the rope out (dissipation stage) of the tornado created a fantastic view as the vortex was left behind from the storm, stretching out the tornado.
